Agnes

The project AGNES is a part of The Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) Joint Programme that is a joint research and development funding programme implemented by 20 European Member States and 3 Associated States. The programme receives a substantial financial support - based on article 169 of the EC treaty - from the European Commission.

AGNES is a 3-year project, started in September 2009. It has a total budget of 3.6 million Euros, of which 2.0 million Euros is provided by the AAL Joint Programme.

The objective of the AAL Joint Programme is to enhance the quality of life of older people and strengthen the industrial base in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

Three AGNES papers accepted for the 5th Workshop on "Affect and Behaviour Related Assistance"!

The fifth workshop will continue the interesting debate of ideas and solutions for supporting people in their daily environment with technologies respecting and taking into account cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of the person. Three AGNES papers has been accepted for the 5th Workshop on "Affect and Behaviour Related Assistance" in Petra.
